S6: Season 6 was quite the rocky road for Mii Swordsman. One of the more interesting debuts, Mii Swordsman performed pretty well in his Wildcard Group, only to be bested by 1 point for the 3rd Place spot by Palutena. Down and out, it looked like it was the end for Mii Swordsman. But, changes to the format allowed for one eliminated contender to get a 2nd chance. Being that Swordsman had the highest point gain of any amiibo who was eliminated, he was invited to compete in The Challenger Series. No one expected him to advance but he did, besting Bowser Jr in his Challenger Series group, he joins Ike in the Top 20 alongside Season 5's elite. How far will this new competitor make it? S6: With one of the easier groups in The Wildcard Preseason Event, Mii Brawler lucks out. He didn't have the best performances but they were good enough to earn enough points for an advancement spot. I can honestly say I don't see him making it out of The Challenger Series. He's not the best teammate, and he still needs a lot of work on his 1v1's. I do think he will be out in the next round. S6: Mii Gunner's performances in The Wildcard Preseason Event were to be expected. She didn't come off as a really strong amiibo while training, so I didn't expect too much. She won a couple of matches but not enough to keep her in the game. Ultimately, her weak performance resulted in her early exit while Mii Brawler and Mii Swordsman both managed to make it to The Challenger Series. She may just need some more time to progress, but as of now, she seems to be the weakest of the three. It will be interesting to see where things go for her in the future.

S6: Fire Emblem may be the strongest franchise in Amiibo Wars. They've all had their moment in the spotlight, and Roy doesn't seem to be any exception. Roy did great in both the 1v1 Phase and FFA/Team Phases of The Wildcard Preseason Event. He managed to get MVP in his group and easily gains a pass to The Challenger Series. Roy seems to be a great teammate, so if he manages to make it to the Top 20, he may definitely have a chance of taking the whole thing. Stay tuned for more Season 6 updates!

S6: Ryu had a great start in the Wildcard Preseason. Much like Lucas, Ryu struggled a bit in his debut 1v1 Matches. Still a little green, it seemed like he just needs a little more polish. In Phase 2, Ryu did amazingly, winning all 3 of his matches. This boosted him up to a definite advancement spot to The Challenger Series. Though he doesn't seem to be the strongest out of the new wave of amiibos, I think he has a lot of potential to do well. I'm not sure if he will make it to The Top 20, but I wouldn't be surprised if he does. It may still be a little early for him to make it that far. Stay tuned for more Season 6 updates!

S6: With Ness already being an incredible force in Amiibo Wars, Lucas has a lot to live up to. The Wildcard Series went pretty well for Lucas in his debut. Though he did look a little green in his 1v1 matches, he more than made up for it in his Team/FFA Matches, easily earning himself an advancement spot to The Challenger Series. Judging from his 1v1's he may struggle a bit in the next phase of the competition depending on who he is put up against. But I have faith that he will do well and make it to the Top 20. S6: Mewtwo had a commendable first attempt at breaking into Amiibo Wars. The struggles came with the group he was placed into. Wildcard #4 was definitely one of the harder ones, with Lucas/Diddy/Robin grabbing the only 3 advancement spots, it's not surprising to see Mewtwo out at this leg of the race. He is a little green still and has a long way to go. I think he needs some more practice before he's ready to hang with the big dogs.

AMIIBO WARS: MEGA MAN STATS

PAST SEASONS

S2: Mega Man didn't have a lot of time in Season 2 to compete. He joined in very late into the season when it was nearing it's end. His start wasn't the best, he lost most of his matches, even though he was putting up a good fight. This season wasn't held against him, I feel like he really didn't start until Season 3.

S3: In Season 3, Mega Man had a decent placement, putting him around the middle of the pack. As time progressed he did fairly well in his gauntlets, rising some in the ranks each round. Ultimately Mega Man landed himself in 7th Place, a great start in Amiibo Wars. Mega Man looked pretty strong in 1v1's and even Team/FFA Matches. Mega Man was learning and improving, and it seemed like he could hang with the best of them.

S4: As the seasons progressed, Mega Man was adapting and improving. After facing an amiibo he struggled with, he would find ways to counter them, like an amiibo should. Mega Man started out pretty strong in Season 4, he kept himself out of danger of elimination for the majority of the competition. When he finally drops to the bottom, a tie breaker with Pit is required for him to stay in the game. After a hard fought battle, it's Pit that comes out victorious, putting Mega Man out at 11th Place. He saw a dip in placement from Season 3 but it wasn't too bad.

S5: The Challenger Series was no problem for Mega Man. Even in probably the more difficult group, he battled out of it with great 1v1 and Team/FFA scores. He was looking very strong at the beginning, as usual, he's clearly a top contender who makes quick work of the greener/easier amiibos. Mega Man proved his strength in 1v1's beating Shulk/Mario/Dark Pit in the same group. But he started falling short in the Team/FFA matches. Though he is better than others in that area, it is more of a weakness than his 1v1's. He did a good job keeping himself out of the Bottom 2, but when the Bottom 2 turned to a Bottom 3, he found himself in a sticky situation. Forced into an elimination round with Sheik/Robin, Mega Man struggled against Sheik where Robin did not and in the end, his inability to 3:0 Robin led to his demise. Mega Man finished Season 5 in 14th Place. Another small slip in his rankings.

S6: Mega Man's dark day has finally come. The Wildcard Preseason Event broke down the competitors into smaller groups to weed out some of the competition before The Challenger Series. Placed in a group with some incredible Amiibo Wars Veterans, this group was set to send some greats out early. With a reputation for doing great in 1v1 rounds, Mega Man didn't meet his expections. He struggled in the group, and with Link/Toon Link dominating the majority of the event, Mega Man ended up in danger, forced to face Luigi in a tie breaker to determine who stays and who goes. Mega Man came out strong, looking completely in control on their first match, but Luigi figured him out. The next 3 victories went the plumbers way and now Mega Man is left in a situation where he is out before The Challenger Series even starts. This is going to destroy his place in the rankings for a long time to come. It's sad to see, but a lot of amiibos have had this happen. Hopefully he can come back from this and prove he still has what it takes to hang with the Top Tier Amiibos.

AMIIBO WARS: PAC-MAN STATS

PAST SEASONS

S3: Entering late into Season 3, Pac-Man didn't have a lot of time to compete. Though he did have a good gauntlet run, climbing the ranks of the newcomers. His unique playstyle seemed to be throwing a lot of amiibos off. He's like no other amiibo in the series, so it's interesting to see how they react to him. He definitely does get a handful of wins based purely off of his playstyle. This season wasn't counted against him or any of the other newcomers.

S4: Pac-Man didn't have the best time in Season 4. Perma Elimination was introduced which means one bad performance could be your last. Out in the 2nd wave, Pac-Man isn't really given much opportunity to show what he's made of. I was a little bit surprised considering his performances in Season 3 made it seem like he was going to do okay. But, it turns out he has some major inconsistencies that held him back.

S5: The Challenger Series gave all amiibos an opportunity to at least compete in a handful of matches. Pac-Man did okay in the 1v1 Phase but his FFA/Team Match performance left a lot more to be desired. He has little to no impact in a group setting, which will be a major setback for him in the future. Pac-Man doesn't manage to make it past The Challenger Series and it looks as though this may be a common trend for him.

S6: The biggest disappointment of all comes in The Wildcard Event of Season 6. Pac-Man has one of the worst performances I've seen in a long time and as a teammate he was completely useless. He would jump around and do practically nothing for his teammate. It's really making me think whether or not I want him in Amiibo Wars. Typically if an amiibo does bad, they will make steps at improving and bettering themselves. Pac-Man seems to just get worse. If he continues to underperform, I may not have a choice but to bench him from the series.

AMIIBO WARS: SONIC STATS

PAST SEASONS

S2: Sonic entered very late into Season 2, so he didn't really have a lot of time to compete. His debut was pretty average so I didn't really think too much about his start. He never really seemed like he was going to be an amazing competitor, but I didn't think he was going to be really weak either. I saw him landing around the Mid Tier and nothing more.

S3: Sonic did well in the placements of Season 3, putting himself in 10th Place on the ladder. He did a good job holding on to his spot for the majority of the competition, even managing to advance a spot. Pretty impressive considering the range he was competing and who he had to fight against to hold his position. Sonic finishes Season 3 in 9th Place. A good start for him, I was curious to see if I was wrong, and we would see him progress even further up the ranks.

S4: Season 4 introduces Perma Elimination and Sonic comes out swinging, getting the highest score of the first Wave. I was thinking I may be wrong about him, but in the same breath he went from the top score, all the way to the bottom. Sonic is out of the competition in the 2nd round, which showed some serious inconsistencies in his performances. I chalked it up to bad luck due to his past performances and was hoping to see him do better in Season 5.

S5: It seems Sonic peaked a little too soon. Season 5 was rough, and The Challenger Series didn't do him any favors. He struggles in both phases and fails to leave a lasting imprint. Sonic seemed out of place, getting punished a lot every time he made any type of aggressive push. It was so bad in fact, I felt a need to reset him, and this wasn't the first time. The AI was making ridiculous mistakes and I really feel like the mass training method is not going to allow him to effectively compete. I' refuse to baby an amiibo and give them special training, so if he can't compete and the AI continues to do stupid things, he's going to have to be benched.

S6: Due to issues I faced with this amiibo's AI and ineffectiveness for w/e reason, he wont be competing in Season 6. I am going to give him another chance in the future, I just have to figure out how I'm going to retrain him.

AMIIBO WARS: LUCINA STATS

PAST SEASONS

S3: Lucina got her start late into Season 3. Just like many others, she didn't really have a lot of opportunities to compete/advance during this season so it wasn't counted against her. Judging from her start, I'd say her performances were pretty average. She didn't look really green but she also wasn't a stand out star. I was curious to see how she would do in the next season, when she's thrown into the mix from the get go.

S4: Lucina started out Season 4 floating around the middle of the pack. She wasn't making too many waves but wasn't really putting herself into any danger either. Right before the Top 20 is when Lucina started to step out of the shadows and show what she's made of. She started to win groups, get perfect scores and step into the spotlight. She was looking strong, and it didn't go unnoticed. Fighting with a purpose, Lucina continued to knock out Top Amiibo Wars Competitors all the way up to the Final 4 before seeing the end of her journey. She finishes Season 4 in 3rd Place.

S5: Season 5 introduced The Challenger Series, to weed out the weaker competition before the Top 20. Her scores weren't the best, but she wasn't in any danger of elimination. Lucina has a history of dropping games to Low Tier Amiibos, it's a little strange considering she can dominate most of the better ones in a 1v1. In the Top 20 she stays out of the Bottom 2/3 for the majority of the competition. Whenever she was put into any danger, she pulled it out and saved herself. In the Top 12, she was finally forced into a Bottom 3 with Ness/Dr. Mario. It was very close but two amiibos had to go, and Ness pulled it out at the last second, securing his place in the Top 8. Lucina sees a dip in her rankings as she finishes in 9th Place. The competition was fierce in Season 5, so I'd say anyone in the Top 10 did a great job.

S6: Season 6 introduces The Wildcard Preseason Event. Lucina doesn't perform well, and it couldn't have come at a worse time. She had okay 1v1 scores but when that's your specialty, it's what you really need to do well at. Because of this, her weak Phase 2 scores put her behind, and because Pit/Villager/Palutena/Mii Swordsman do really well, it puts her out of the competition. This is probably the most shocking early elimination of the season, she's always consistently scored high. But to be fair, almost every amiibo has had a weak season that sets them back. Lucina is really going to see a dip in the rankings after this one, I'm curious to see how far she will drop.

AMIIBO WARS: DARK PIT STATS

PAST SEASONS

S5: Season 5 was amazing for Dark Pit. He shocked us with his consistency, being that Season 5 was his debut season. Right out the gate, his scores were insane. Dominating the 1v1's, dominating the FFA/Team Matches. Dark Pit looked like he was a favorite to win the whole thing. The only thing holding him back was Shulk, who also was dominating the tournament in the same way. This became the most intense rivalry in Amiibo Wars history, the two were neck and neck the entire season and in the end only 2 points separated them for the championship. I think Shulk's experience is what gave him that slight edge, and since Season 1, we've never seen an amiibo land such a high placement in their debut season. Dark Pit is looking to be the David to Shulk's Goliath and it's only a matter of time before we see Dark Pit as an Amiibo Wars Champion.

S6: Season 6 gave the top scorers from last season to get a by to the Top 20. Because Dark Pit was 2nd place, he automatically advanced, alongside Shulk/Ness. Will we see Dark Pit continue to dominate like he did last season, or did he peak too soon? Stay tuned for more Season 6 updates!

PAST SEASONS

S3: Shulk's debut went a lot better than most. Though he wasn't in the spotlight or making any big waves, he did manage to land himself in the mid tier war that took place around 10th-20th place. This was probably the most up and down competitive range of the entire season and some big names got stuck in that area of the ladder. Considering this was his first season competing, I'd say he did a pretty good job of holding on and not wavering. Shulk finishes Season 3 in 12th Place.

S4: Because he didn't really stand out too much in Season 3, I wasn't really sure where Shulk was going to end up. At the start of Season 4, Shulk was sitting around the middle of the pack, insuring his safety from being eliminated but not really dominating any of the groups. It was looking to be Ness' tournament to win, as he was winning the majority of the groups early on. Around Top 20 is when Shulk stepped out of the shadows and had the best run I think I've ever seen in Amiibo Wars history. Shulk obliterated the competition, winning every single group from Top 20 all the way to Final 2. He was our Season 4 Champion, and he looked untouchable.

S5: As Season 5 rolled around and the format from Season 4 didn't change too much, I was worried that Shulk might be a little too strong. I want to see a challenge, I want Amiibo Wars to be balanced, and after Season 4, Shulk was looking like a monster. Shulk rampages through The Challenger Series, only losing one match in its entirety, he gets the top score of the entire series. In the Top 20, things change a little bit, there's a newcomer right on his heels and it makes him nervous. Dark Pit is showing signs of dominance that we'd only seen in Shulk so far. He matches his scores every round, if not doing better. It becomes the rivalry of the series, and in the end, it comes down to them in the Final 4 as both of them dominate Ness/Little Mac for top points. In the end 2 points separate the two titans, and history is made as Shulk is the first amiibo to ever win 2 Championships. In the end it was a nail biter and honestly could've went to either one of them. The competition in Amiibo Wars has gotten so good, I don't think Shulk will be able to hold that top spot forever.

S6: Season 6 allowed for the top scorers of last season to receive a by to the Top 20. Shulk/Dark Pit/Ness were automatically sent to Top 20's Team Turmoil where the Championship will be decided. Will Shulk once again prove he's the king of Amiibo Wars? Or will reliance on a Teammate finally be what drags him down? Stay tuned for more Season 6 updates!

AMIIBO WARS: WII FIT TRAINER STATS

S5: Wii Fit Trainer was given new life after bug fixes allowed her to compete again. I had retired her in earlier seasons due to her inability to recover. This game breaking bug made it nearly impossible for her to compete so I had to shelf her. In The Challenger Series, Wii Fit Trainer was actually looking pretty strong. She was a shoe in for the Top 20, until Jigglypuff's last minute Phase 2 sweep, put her 1 point ahead of WFT. Sadly, this is where she had to say her goodbyes, ending the season in 21st Place. Because past seasons don't count against her, this allowed her to have higher placement than other amiibos who may have placed in the same range. We will see how her rankings fluctuate as she competes more.

S6: Even with the fixes to her glitchy AI, I'm having trouble believing Wii Fit can really hang with the other amiibos. She had one of the easiest Wildcard Groups and still didn't manage to advance. I'm not really shocked, but if she had any chance of making it, that was it. Her inability to perform may lead to her being retired, I don't like to give free wins to the other amiibos, so if I feel like she isn't putting up a fight against anyone, she will be benched. Currently, she is winning a few matches, so I think she will just remain as a Bottom Tier Amiibo, with little to no room for advancement. Wii Fit fails to advance past the Preseason.

AMIIBO WARS: OLIMAR STATS

S5: A victim of the newbie curse, Olimar had a pretty rough start. His performance in The Challenger Series wen't a bit worse than I expected. He struggled a lot, partially due to the amiibo having some flaws that kept him from reaching his true potential. With this being his first tournament, and scoring 42nd Place out of 44 total, he really didn't have any opportunities to climb the rankings. Olimar starts his career at the very bottom, which in a way is a blessing, because he can only go up from here.

S6: The Wildcard Preseason went better for Olimar, he was winning matches and performing pretty well overall. He managed to advance to The Challenger Series, and I'm not really sure if he will be able to get past that. I personally don't see him making it to the Top 20, but I've seen crazier things happen in Amiibo Wars. Stay tuned for more Season 6 updates!

AMIIBO WARS: VILLAGER STATS

S3: Villager looked pretty strong in his Amiibo Wars debut. He successfully managed to climb in the Gauntlets and hold on to a prominent position within the ladder. Some fierce competition met him in the middle tier of the ladder, and he held his own. I thought he was a great addition to Amiibo Wars with a lot of potential. He finished in 10th Place.

S4: Season 4 saw Villager do consistently well throughout the majority of the tournament. He was proving to be a serious threat in the FFA/Team Match scene and could even hold his own in 1v1's as well. As the contenders dwindled down, the competition got a lot harder and the pressure became a bit too much for Villager. He finished the season in 12th Place. A slight drop from his previous score. Overall he's pretty consistent. He seems to be right on the heels of the Top Tier amiibo circle but just isn't quite there yet.

S5: The Challenger Series didn't go well for Villager. He struggled a lot in his 1v1 Matches and I think it tilted him going into Phase 2. Much like a handful of other prominent Amiibo Wars Veterans, Villager was unable to advance and out of the tournament extremely early. I hated to see him out in The Challenger Series, it was quite a shock to be honest. Villager is usually pretty consistent so here's hoping he will do better in Season 6.

S6: Villager came back in Season 6 looking like he had something to prove. He did an excellent job in the Wildcard Preseason, easily picking up an advancement to The Challenger Series. Let's hope the past doesn't repeat itself and Villager makes it back into the Top 20 where he belongs. This tournament plays into his hands, being a Team Competition, because he excels in the Team Matches. More Season 6 is on the way, stay tuned for updates!

AMIIBO WARS: CAPTAIN FALCON STATS

PAST SEASONS

S2: Captain Falcon entered very late into Season 2. This didn't give him hardly any matches to compete in before the season actually came to a close. I think he only fought about 6  matches and they were pretty even. Pretty standard for a new amiibo. The green showed in his first few bouts, but considering the trend for new amiibos starting out weak, I didn't think much of it.

S3: Captain Falcon had a great start in Season 3. His placement matches put him in 2nd place to start, right behind Toon Link for most points. This was before the mass retraining session, when he received a lot more hands on training. I think that was a positive thing for this amiibo in particular because back then he looked a lot stronger. Captain Falcon slipped a little bit but overall did a good job holding his position in the ladder. Ultimately, he finishes the season in 6th Place.

S4: This is where the mass retraining began, and it didn't have the same effect on him as others. I think it effected him in more of a negative way. I do feel that some amiibos benefit more from hands on training, but it terms of fairness and balance, I had to do this to make sure Amiibo Wars was as balanced as possible. That being said, Captain Falcon was struggling, especially in FFA/Team Matches. He was just ineffective and easy to gimp. Though he managed to avoid elimination for a few rounds, he wasn't getting any top scores and by the time Top 20 rolled around, the competition was a little too much for him. Falcon is axed at 19th Place. This was a huge drop from the previous season, I was worried he had a long way to go if he wanted to hang with the big dogs.

S5: In the Challenger Series, Captain Falcon was placed into arguably the hardest group out of all 4. He did not do well. 3/4ths of the group were Top Tier Amiibos, so he was out of his league. With only a handful of spots up for grabs, Captain Falcon didn't have what it takes to snatch one for himself. He seemed like he was lagging behind and since the retraining, I'm not sure if he will ever be back to his former glory. Two seasons in a row, Falcon fails to make an impact. I hope to see some improvements, but his progression seems to be a little slower than others.

S6: The Wildcard Preseason goes into Falcons favor, he does really well in both phases and ties Kirby for the MVP spot for the group. I think Falcon is making improvements and looks a lot stronger than previous seasons. Chalk that up to the fact that his group was a little on the easier side. I'm not going to praise him for dominating one of the easier Wildcards, I'm just gonna wait and see how the Challenger Series plays out for him. More Season 6 is coming soon!!

PAST SEASONS

S3: Ness' debut was very late into Season 3. Being forced to the bottom of the ladder, he didn't have a lot of time to work his way up. Ness finished very low, which tbh isn't really fair because of how things played out. Even so, Ness was destined to do well in Amiibo Wars and following Season 6, this season will be wiped from his record anyway.

S4: This is the season that Ness' career in Amiibo Wars really took off. Ness really kicked things off with a bang, scoring top points in almost every wave of the competition. He was looking to be the favorite to win, until a new star emerged out of no where. Shulk started destroying the competition with almost no contest and stopped Ness in his tracks in the Top 12. Had he not been forced into a group with Mario/Shulk that early, I'm certain he would've gotten further in the competition. But someone had to be eliminated. Ness finishes Season 4 in 10th Place. I expected him to make it further, but sometimes luck does play a part in the early demise of some great competitors.

S5: Ness was out for blood in Season 5. Embarrassed by his 10th Place finish, Ness looked to get revenge on those who knocked him out. In the Challenger Series, Ness terrorized his group, winning all 10 1v1 matches and 2/3 of the Phase 2 matches. Finishing only 1 point behind Shulk for Top Score of the entire Challenger Series, it was looking like Shulk had some competition this season. Placed immediately in the same group as Shulk, Ness seemed to buckle a bit under the pressure. But with others doing a little worse, he managed to keep himself in the game. He pulled himself out of his slump, pushing all the way to the Top 12 before slipping into a Bottom 3 round where he just narrowly escaped elimination. Ness knocks Dr. Mario/Lucina out of the competition. Ness continues to push through, dominating the Top 8,  and avoiding the dreaded Bottom 6 where he moved directly on to the Top 4. Sadly, Dark Pit/Shulk overshadowed Little Mac/Ness so much in the Top 4 that they were and afterthought. Once again, Shulk overshadows Ness, and steals another championship away from him. Ness finishes the season tied with Little Mac for 3rd Place.

S6: At the start of Season 6, Dark Pit/Shulk were given a by to the Top 20 based on their incredible performance in the previous season. 3rd place was also given a by, but considering Ness/Little Mac were tied, there needed to be a tie breaker. The two kick off the preseason in a grueling Best of 5 where Ness handily takes that third spot for himself. Little Mac is forced to fight his way into the Top 20 like the rest of them, and Ness is sitting pretty with a by to the main stage. Stay tuned for more updates on Season 6!!

PAST SEASONS

S6: R.O.B has a pretty solid debut. He was placed into the worst group for a shot at advancing, but he put up a great fight considering how new he is. Had Lucario not been in this group, he probably would've advanced. R.O.B and Lucario tie for the 3rd Place spot, and with only 3 being able to advance, a tie breaker was put into action. R.O.B just didn't have the experience to match the veteran and Lucario smoked through the Bo5 without all 5 rounds even needing to be played out. He won the first 3 matches back to back and ended R.O.B's shot at making The Challenger Series. He put up a good fight, I'm hoping to see him improve in the future. I'm sure he will.

PAST SEASONS

S5: Much like many of the other amiibos, Greninja didn't have a great debut. His performances were very green and he just looked new. He wont a few matches here and there but overall, the experience of his opponents gave them too much of an edge. I feel like he needs more practice before truly knowing his potential. Some just take more time to blossom than others. Hopefully next season we will see some improvements.

S6: The Wildcard that Greninja was placed into was honestly a little too much for him to handle. Veterans like Peach/Charizard/Little Mac were wayy out of his league. Greninja tried but it wasn't enough to allow him to advance. Sadly, he isn't getting the practice he needs and it may take some time before he will be able to break into the ranks. Here's hoping that next season he will be given more time to show what he's got.
