PAST SEASONS
S2: Bowser debuted in Season 2 which was for the most part a 1v1 style tournament. Granted, there were quite a few Team/FFA matches thrown in, Bowser showed early that he didn't really have the capability of dominating the 1v1 scene. Bowser showed his strength in FFA matches, where he was obliterating the competition with his power and hard hitting attacks.
S3: With Season 3 being even more focused around 1v1 skills, Bowser landed around the middle of the pack, his inability to run the gauntlet left him sitting where he started, ultimately not making an impact at all.
S4: We switched things up in Season 4. giving Bowser much more of a fighting chance. This was his proudest moment because the match types were so diverse. Giving him the ability to have multi man matches just as often as 1v1 matches boosted him all the way to the top where he was in reaching distance of the S4 Crown. Sadly, it didn't pan out and Bowser lost in the Grand Finals to Shulk. 2nd Place
S5: As Season 5 rolled around, Bowser was looking to be a top contender, but following the challenger series, he didn't live up to the hype. Bowser fumbled and struggled, ultimately putting him out early when I was expecting him to easily make it to the Top 20.
S6: Season 6 being named as a Team Tournament, you'd expect Bowser to climb his way back to the top. Wildcard gave him the opportunity to redeem himself because the Team/FFA phase is worth just as much as the 1v1's. Sadly, he just couldn't carry himself through and his 1v1 score was too much of a detriment to his overall score.
