PAST SEASONS

S2: Pit debuted in the big wave of amiibos that came Season 2. With his entrance being later in the season he didn't have a lot of time to show his stuff. His win/loss was pretty much 50/50 which is commendable for a brand new amiibo. Judging from his performances, I felt like he had a lot of potential to progress with time.

S3: The season of gauntlets was where Pit really got his start. With the preliminary matches deciding where you start on the ladder, Pit's mediocre score put him in the middle of the pack. This made it difficult for him to advance. His Gauntlet presence was pretty weak, and when given an opportunity, he wasn't able to take it very far before taking a loss. Ultimately Pit ended the season in 16th Place.

S4: Season 4 is where Pit really began to show promise. He managed to keep himself out of the danger zone for the entirety of the tournament. Usually scoring in the middle of the pack, he made it all the way to the Top 8 before being eliminated. The competition in the Top 8 was intense and he just wasn't quite there in comparison to those amiibos that advanced to the Top 4. Pit finished Season 4 in an impressive 6th Place.

S5: Pit goes from a major high, to a devastating low, as his performances in the Challenger Series aren't enough to advance him to the Top 20. The Challenger Series was a good idea to weed out weaker amiibos but it was so broad that any mistake really put amiibos at a disadvantage. Pit performed okay but it just wasn't enough to advance. Embarrassed and ashamed, Pit see's the door early as newcomer Dark Pit takes Amiibo Wars by storm, dominating the entire tournament. That can't feel good for Pit, to be overshadowed by an amiibo who is almost the exact same as him.

S6: Coming off of that horrible placement, Pit looks to redeem himself. He did a great job in the Wildcard Preseason event, tying with Villager for top points. It's looking like Pit is learning to adapt and improving his skills. I hope to see him make it to the Top 20 this season, I think his prowess in Team Matches will be an asset to this season's gimmick.
